The long-awaited debut album in Japan of the big new boy group "TREASURE," which swept Korea's rookie awards in 2020, including Asia's largest music awards ceremony "2020 MAMA.

TREASURE" was born out of YG ENTERTAINMENT's survival audition program "YG Jewel Box", to which global artists such as BIGBANG and BLACKPINK belong, and is the first YG artist to be born in Japan. TREASURE is a 12-member boy group with an average age of 18, ranging from the youngest at 15 to the oldest at 21. The group attracted a great deal of attention by sweeping the 2020 Rookie of the Year awards at numerous award ceremonies held during the year-end and New Year holidays, including the 2020 Asia Artist Awards, the Korea First Brand Awards, the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards, and the 35th Golden Disc Awards. The group has made a big splash at many award ceremonies.
Their debut album in Japan, "THE FIRST STEP : TREASURE EFFECT" was released on 1/11/2021 in Korea and ranked No. 1 in 18 countries on iTunes. EDITION-", which was released in Korea on January 11, 2021 and ranked No.1 in 18 countries on iTunes.
This debut album in Japan is the final version of the "THE FIRST STEP" series of three consecutive singles, "BOY", "I LOVE YOU", "MMMM", "TREASURE EFFECT -KR EDITION-", which made its strong debut in Korea last August and recorded sales of over 700,000. The album has also been charting on major music charts such as LINE MUSIC, AWA, and Rakuten Music in Japan, and has been selling over 700,000 copies worldwide. The album will also include 13 songs, including "BEAUTIFUL," the new ending theme song for the popular Weekly Shonen Jump "Black Clover" TV anime and the first original Japanese song, all in Japanese.
